well i packed all my ice fishing gear away, but i guess it all depends on where your fishing as to safe ice or not,i do know simcoes ice is very soft and caution is needed big time, most of my buds have not went out in 2-3 days now.

saftey first and you'll be around to fish next year

stay dry and stay safe and stay at home lol

Well I know that lakes like Kennebec and a few other lakes around arden still have a fair bit of ice. I wouldnt be driving my bike out but for walking there was more than enough were we were yesterday.

I managed to get on the Ice at Big Bay Point Simcoe yesterday for the last shot at the Whitties, my friend did well with a couple of lakers and whitties, but I lucked out as I had totally forgotten how to fish fresh water after being out BC for so long.....  But all in all, a great time and a wonderful 9 months of great fishing since returning to ontario...

Hello,

Well you can forget about Lake Scugog, it's opening up. Yeah all my ice gear is put away, getting new stuff ready for summer, getting the boat cleaned up ahhh can't wait.

Cheers

If you find that cheese/olive & salami with mayo sammich y'all dropped in the boat last year, please eat it!  Maybe that'll give me a chance to outfish you this year for a change!  (hint hint!)
