Hey guys, planning on going to the ponds on Friday. I have a boat I could take in, where should I fish, what pond? Never been there before, please help

I've never fished there ,but I know that the brood stock of rainbows from the Normindale hatchery were released there so be on the look out for huge rainbows,

Hey TLF, How did you make out? This may be a little late but I grew up fishing these ponds. Lots of decent size bass out there. If you have a boat you can launch for free by the old train tracks just off of Alice street. It's marked with the "X".  Follow the yellow lines and you can make it all the way up the river with a boat. Just watch for stumps around the old train bridges. Try workn the edges and pads. You should be able to hook up with a few 3-4lbs fish.

For the rainbow situation. I believe the last time they stocked the pods with rainbows was around 1998. I don't think there's to many if any around anymore. But I could be mistaken.

Yes, you can use an engine in these ponds... I believe the Waterford North conservation has a max of 9.9 hp. But I don't think it's enforced.

Waterford has a lot of nice bass but last time I went up took over carp .. amazing day lots of carp and small pike
